Aadyah Aerospace raises Rs 31.5 crore fresh funds in Series A round by Helios Holdings

Aerospace and defense tech startup Aadyah Aerospace has raised Rs 31.5 crore or $3.3 million in a Series A funding round led by Helios Holdings with the participation from angel investor Meenu Sharma.

The board at Aadyah Aerospace's has approved the issuance of 30,92,176 Series A CCPS at an issue price of Rs 101.87 per share to raise the above-mentioned amount, according to regulatory filings accessed by platform. The round was led by Suraj Nalin, on behalf of Helios Holdings, who invested Rs 30.5 crore. Meenu Sharma also participated in the round with an investment of Rs 1 crore.

Aadyah Aerospace has raised over $8.4 million to date from investors including SiriusOne, Keiretsu Forum, and several individual angel investors. The company is yet to file its FY26 financial statements. In FY25, Aadyah Aerospace's operating revenue declined 9% to Rs 14.12 crore from Rs 15.53 crore in FY24. Despite the drop in revenue, the company turned profitable, reporting a profit of Rs 1.47 crore compared to a loss of Rs 35 lakh in the previous fiscal year.

India's spacetech ecosystem has witnessed heightened investor interest in recent months, producing its first unicorn with Skyroot Aerospace after the startup raised $60 million in funding. The sector has continued to attract capital, with Xovian Aerospace raising $2 million in a round led by Ashish Kacholia and SatLeo Labs securing $2.2 million in a recent seed funding round, among other deals.
